Questions
Quick answers
Is this the official FilmCraft app?
No. FilmCraft online is an independent AI clip generator. The official FilmCraft is a free, open-source desktop video editor by ArtCraft - it cannot run in a browser yet. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by ArtCraft.
What exactly do I get?
A 5-second, 480p video clip with sound, rendered from your text prompt or from one reference image. It plays on the page, downloads as a file, saves to your library, and we email the link to your account address.
Is the first clip really free?
Yes. Create a free account with Google or your email and we credit you enough for one full clip - no card required. After that, clips cost 60 credits each, bought as one-time packs.
Is this a video editor? Can it replace Premiere or the desktop FilmCraft?
No. There is no timeline, no trimming, no project files. FilmCraft online makes one short AI clip from a prompt or one image - it is not a video editor and not a Premiere replacement.
How do the credit packs work?
Two one-time packs: Starter ($4.99, 150 credits - about 2 clips) and Creator ($8.90, 290 credits - about 4 clips). Credits never expire and there is no subscription.
What if a render fails?
The credits come straight back. Failed renders are refunded automatically - you only pay for clips that finish.
